1. Data controller and processor roles
ByIT Consulting Oy processes personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in two roles:
- Data Controller – for user accounts and application administration
- Data Processor – when processing data on behalf of customers under a data processing agreement

2.1 Data you provide
- Name and contact details (account creation and service delivery)
- Email address (communication, notifications, reports)
Data is deleted after 12 months of inactivity unless retention is required by law.
2.2 Data collected automatically
- IP address
- Approximate location (country / region)
- App usage and diagnostic data
- Device information (OS and app version)
This data is used for security, troubleshooting, and service improvement only.
3. Data processed on behalf of users
The application may process email addresses and identifiers provided by customers to send messages or publish reviews on their behalf.
The application does not collect or store passwords, Google account credentials, app store credentials, or social media passwords.
4. Payments
Payments are handled by third-party payment providers. ByIT Consulting Oy does not store or process payment card data.
5. Data storage and security
- All data is stored within the EU/EEA
- Industry-standard technical and organizational security measures are applied
6. Data sharing and transfers
Trusted service providers may be used for infrastructure, analytics, error monitoring, and email delivery.
International transfers are protected using EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Children’s privacy
The application is not intended for children under 16 years of age. If such data is identified, it will be deleted without delay.
